Press Release Roundup: We’ve got lots of official announcements swirling across our desk this morning. First up, the addictive Manhunt.net (yeah, right, you don’t have a profile…) has announced the pending June 1 launch of OnTheHunt.com, an amateur skin site that is designed to “extend its brand” (you’ll be hearing that phrase a lot more in the coming months). They began culling their membership roster for the first batch of potential models in January, and some of the selected studs (who were paid $1000 apiece and had the scenes filmed in their own homes, apparently) will have their sexplay filmed by established stars; per the press release, Jeremy Hall and Collin O’Neal are the first boldfaced names to man the cameras. The news was announced by Manhunt CEO Adam Segel and OnTheHunt.com webmaster Gary Blumenthal. Although pro/am and amateur sites are the new hot format (quickly displacing DVDs), this isn’t the first time Manhunt has poked their penises into filmed sex: MANHUNT THE MOVIE (featuring Mr. O’Neal with Alex LeMonde, Arpad Miklos and Dick Wolf) was released in 2004, followed by MANHUNT 2.0 (with Tony Mecelli, Brad Rock and Robert Van Damme) in 2006, both co-productions with Hot House Video.
