It's got a kinda retro funk to it.

iiM...

The Wii, my fave pic for new toy is going to have an instant messenger built into it called iim. I think I'm in love with the cuteness of this thing.
According to the fairly credible German website, gamefront.de, Nintendo has registered three new names that pertain to the Wii. The names are: WiiPointer, WiiCulture, and surprisingly, !!M.
The first two are fairly straight forward. WiiPointer is probably the name of the formally known as revmote, currently known as Wii-mote, Wii controller. With WiiCulture spawning iPod marketing & peripherals imagery in my mind, I am inclined to believe that the name is a label for all things Wii. The most interesting of the three, !!M, is said to be the name of Wii?s built-in instant messenger. That, I think, is a really cool way to name an instant messenger, flip the console?s name around. Try that xBox 360 and PS3!

Make oil from well... anything...
Turkey guts, junked car parts, and even raw sewage go in one end of this plant, and black gold comes out the other end
"The smell is a m?lange of midsummer corpse with fried-liver overtones and a distinct fecal note. It comes from the worst stuff in the world?turkey slaughterhouse waste. Rotting heads, gnarled feet, slimy intestines, and lungs swollen with putrid gases have been trucked here from a local Butterball packager and dumped into an 80-foot-long hopper with a sickening glorp. In about 20 minutes, the awful mess disappears into the workings of the thermal conversion process plant in Carthage, Missouri."
Apparently it also produces an all natural, coliform free natural fertilizer.
so, it breaks down garbage, of pretty much every kind. Safely, 0 emissions, produces oil, and fertilizer. Of course it won't be available in the US. The politics arent there. lovely.

Interactive Transit Advertisment
The things a lot of advertisers have forgotten is that adds are supposed to engage the customer, make them want something. The goal isn't to simply throw so many things at them that something sticks.
Tho it reminded me of the ads from Minority Report.
This clip is of an interactive advertisment planted in a busy subway (SMRT/SBS Transit) station. It's basically a projector showing ads on the floor with interaction with the people walking by. Check it out!

Meh, I thought I was more punk than that..,.
The intelligent punk. Tuff and Smart. I may be able to maintain a train of thought long enough... What the fuck was I talking about?
heh
You probably work in computers, or a history deptartment at a college. You never really fit in with the "normal" crowd. But you have friends, and this is a good thing.
